Agreement

By using Fact Tower ("the game," "this site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The game is operated by Tom Majek in British Columbia, Canada.

What the service is

Fact Tower is a free daily knowledge puzzle. You get one run per day. Your progress is stored anonymously using a cookie on your device. We offer no guarantees about uptime, availability, or continuity of your progress.

Rules of fair use

You may not:

• Use automated scripts or bots to play the game or harvest content
• Attempt to access game data belonging to other anonymous players
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or exploit the game mechanics
• Use the site in any way that violates applicable law

Content accuracy

Every claim in Fact Tower is human-curated and sourced. However, facts change, sources get updated, and we are human. If you believe a claim is inaccurate, email us at tom@facttower.com and we will review it. Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice of any kind.

Intellectual property

The game code, design, and original copy are owned by Tom Majek. Individual factual claims are not copyrightable. The reveal text (explanations) and the game structure are. You may share your results (the share image, your level, scores) for any non-commercial purpose. You may not reproduce the claim library or game content in bulk.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the site will be available, error-free, or that your progress will be preserved indefinitely. We may shut down, change mechanics, or reset the game at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by BC law, Tom Majek is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site. This is a free puzzle game.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in BC courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
